Fun Pictures!

These pictures were taken last weekend at the Lamberth's, while I was in Tuscaloosa visiting friends. I thought these pictures were so great of Nolen and Libby! I only wish I was there to be in them. We don't have many pictures of the 3 of us... It's just so hard to get Libby to cooperate!

Thanksgiving Festivities!

On Sunday we started off all the Thanksgiving festivities! Libby was in the 2nd annual Thanksgiving play at Willow Point. Well, she was supposed to be in it, but pitched a fit before it started so she just sat in the crowd and watched it. My mom and I tried so hard to get the turkey costume on her, but she just wasn't having it!! So, we decided that it wasn't worth the fight!

Today Libby had her Thanksgiving Feast at school. Her class dressed up as Indians! All of the 2 year old classes joined together to have a big Thanksgiving feast! They sang 3 songs for us. Well the teachers mainly sang the songs, and the kids just stood there.. AND of course Libby cried some during the songs. After they sang, all the kids sat down to eat their feast!! They had turkey, cheese cubes, pretzels, cookies, and juice. Libby got to sit by her favorite girl friends. The 2 Avery's and Emerson. She talks about the 2 Avery's ALL the time at home!

I'm already worn out, and Thanksgiving is not even here! We are heading to Birmingham this afternoon to see all of our Birmingham family! Libby can't wait to see all of her aunts, uncles, and her favorite cousin, Lindsey!

Fun weekend!

What a busy weekend we had!! I love it being busy though! Friday my friend Kaleigh kept Libby all morning. I had to meet with my advisor and do orientation stuff, and Nolen had class. She was so sweet to keep her. Libby loves Kaleigh!! Friday night we went to the AU basketball game! Our friend Al invited us to sit in the scholarship section! It was a lot of fun! Except the game didn't start until like 8:30... So it didn't end until like 11! Libby stayed up the whole time! She was like a zombie when we were leaving the game!

Saturday morning we went to Libby's friend Emerson's birthday party! Libby had a lot of fun playing with all of her sweet friends. She just wasn't so sure about the whole  climbing on the playground. So, she played safe and stayed on the ground! AND she cried when we sang happy birthday!! AH! It wasn't even a wining cry... It was a full blown SCARED cry! I just don't get it! Then, Saturday night we went to our friend Abby and Hank's house to watch the Auburn and Alabama games. Although the turn out of the Auburn game wasn't good we still had a good time. Libby was the entertainer for the night. She sang, Jesus Loves me, Twinkle, Twinkle little star, Itsy bitsy spider, and many more songs for every one! It was so cute, she really gets into the songs!

Sunday night we went to the Henry's house for a Sunday school party! The theme was "rock n roll"... Thanks to Paige for hooking me up with some cool rock n' roll attire, and some red hair extensions (my fav)! They had rock band set up, so Libby loved dancing to the rock n' roll music! We had a great weekend!! Only 1 more week of school until Thanksgiving break!! YAY! We are needing a break in this house... School is getting pretty STRESSFUL!

Above are pictures of all the people that dressed up for last nights rock n' roll party. I just couldn't get Nolen around to dressing up! Maybe next time!

Just Chillin'

I was wondering why it was so quiet....

She was just chillin' on her bed drinking some juice, and of course she has the PACI! I think this is the only time she has gone to her room to just sit on her bed. Makes me wonder what made her want to do that?

" I want FWIES!!"

So, today Libby and I went and got lunch at Chick-fil-A. This was our conversation while we were waiting in the drive-thru line..

L: " We get Daddy samwich!"
Me: "Yes, we are going to get Daddy a sandwich, Do you want a sandwich?"
L: "Ummm.... No Mommy!"
Me: "Do you want chicken nuggets?"
L: "Umm.. No Mommy!"
Me: "Well, want do you want?"
L: "I just want FWIES!!"

Even though I wasn't surprised at what she really wanted...I still thought it was pretty funny! The girl knows what she wants! And of course when I started laughing.... She said, "Ver vou waughfin!?"

Libby's 1st Auburn game!

Yesterday, we took Libby to her first football game! I always said that I wouldn't take her until she understood what football was and could sit still, but Nolen really wanted to take her. I'm so glad that we took her though! She had so much fun cheering for her favorite team! Although, it turned out to be REALLY hot!  We started off the day by tailgating with Bessie and Papa near Samford Hall. Libby loved running around and singing songs for us. We went to J&M and she got her face painted! She was perfect! She sat still the whole time they painted her paw print on her face. Then Bessie was so sweet and bought her a new Aubie ornament and a Aubie sweatshirt! After tailgating we headed to the game. When we walked into the stadium Libby started laughing! It was so cute! When we got to our seats she immediately started cheering and saying,"YAYY!!! Auburn!" She didn't like the band as much as I thought, but she was acting really tired. She started asking for her paci, so I gave it to her and almost immediately she was in Papa's arm fast asleep. I think she slept a good 30 minutes. After the game we went back and tailgated the rest of the day. Libby got to participate in rolling Toomer's corner! She loved playing in the toilet paper!

Libby had a great time at her first and last Auburn game for this season!! We can't wait to take her back next year when she's 3!! I can't believe I just said she will be 3!! Man, time sure does fly!

Rock n' Roll girl!

Last Friday night Nolen, Katie, Libby, and I went to the block party in downtown Auburn. There was a band playing rock n' roll 80s music! Libby LOVED it.. She danced the whole time with her sweet friend Tucker. After they played their last song for the night, everyone was starting to leave. Well, Libby had other plans. She walked up to the stage where the lead singer was sitting, and waited on her to finish talking to someone. It looked like she was waiting in line for an autograph! It was the funniest thing! When the girl saw Libby standing right below her feet, she said "Hey girl!" We told her that she loved watching her sing and dance on stage, so she let Libby get on the stage, and she even sat in the girls lap for a quick second!

We didn't leave with an autograph or picture (I forgot my camera!!), but she gave Libby a sticker with big hot pink lips on it and it said, "ROXY ROX ME" on it! HA! I was so surprised that Libby went up to the stage to talk to a complete stranger! She doesn't like strangers AT ALL if you can't already tell from the Fireman post! She was so proud to wear her "ROXY ROX ME" sticker the rest of the night!
