scenes from our long weekend
We spent the long Memorial day weekend at the lake. It was wonderful! It was full of sunshine, boat riding, eating, drinking, relaxing and parading. We sure do love having this little slice of heaven 45 minutes away from our house! Enjoy all of the "scenes" from our weekend... There are a lot!

oh the places you'll go
I had Libby's teacher write her a note in the book last week. I can't wait for her to read her sweet note {and all of her future teachers}! I am so glad I found this idea on pinterest! I'm pretty excited about it :)

dance recital
Libby had her dance recital this past Sunday. She did GREAT!! I was a proud mama on Mother's day. She has had so much fun taking ballet this year! She had quite the fan club that came to watch her. Grand parents, GREAT grand parents and one of my best friends came! It was so fun having everyone there.
Libby absolutely loved her first year of ballet! We She can't wait for next year!

last day of pre-k
Libby's last day of pre-k was last Friday. She has had such a great year! She has grown like crazy and learned so much! Her teachers are seriously the BEST! We are really going to miss them next year! Good thing they will be at the same school next year, so we will be making a lot of visits, and I'm sure they will pass each other a lot in the hallway. :)
It's absolutely crazy to think next time she goes back to school she will be in Kindergarten. I just can't even think about it. Makes me so SAD!! We are so looking forward to summer though! The calendar is pretty full with a lot of fun things! Hoping to have our summer fun list completed this week... once we kick this stomach bug that hit the Libster yesterday. Yes.... you read right-- not how I envisioned the start to summer break! So far so good this morning though. Hoping it was just a 24 hour bug!

disney world: day four
Day four was our last day! We went back to Magic Kingdom to see some characters that we hadn't seen, and try to fit in a few more rides before we had to hit the road. We went to see Cinderella's fairy godmother. She was so sweet! We rode on dumbo again, winnie the pooh, waited in a forever long line to meet Jasmine and Aladdin, and made one last stop to see Mickey Mouse.
We had such a great trip! Four days was perfect for us-- not sure I could have done a fifth. We were all pretty tired! Next time we go we might be going in the fall. It was pretty crowded end of April beginning of May. I thought it would be less crowded due to spring breaks being over and school not being out for big kids yet. AND that we went during the week and not on the weekend. It was still so much fun though!!
I asked Libby to name her top 5 favorite things at Disney.
6. Hotel bus
Not kidding-- She LOVED all the buses :) I can't wait for her to read this when she gets older! Five was a great age in my opinion-- it was so magical for her!
1. Meeting all the princesses
2. BBB
3. Dumbo
4. Monorail
5. Disney world bus
Now I'm sure all of you wonderful readers are feeling like you've been over loaded with disney info! :)
have a great mother's day weekend!
