Last Day of School & Picasa

Yesterday was Libby's last day of 2-year-old preschool. I can't believe it's already over, and she will be going to 3-year-old preschool this coming up fall! It just doesn't seem possible that she will be FOUR next year! Heck, I'm still not over her being THREE!

Anyway, the 2-year-old classes had a "Bubble" party yesterday for their last day of school. All the parents met the kids at the playground for some fun! They had all kinds of bubble machines and lots of other fun stuff! Libby loved the bubbles! She would stand right under Mrs.Carmello and Mrs.Rich and just let the bubbles hit her face. She thought it was hilarious! She had so much fun playing with her sweet friends, it's so fun to watch little kids interact with each other. I wish I could be a fly on the wall in her class sometime! :-) I actually got to watch her class walk down the hall to the playground. Libby apparently isn't that great at walking in a line. Every now and then I would hear Mrs. Rich say, "Libby get back in line!" I was hiding behind a wall, and I think she might have gotten a glimpse at me. So, that might of distracted her a bit!

Here are some pictures from the party...

*On a different note- I have a new found "love" with Picasa. I was doing some blog stalking yesterday and found a great tutorial on Picasa on how to make headings (banners). Like the one I have above. It is seriously addicting! I love it. Who knows I might have a new header everyday! Ha- Totally joking! But if you are looking for an easy way to spruce up your blog Picasa is great! If you need the tutorial I'll be glad to send you a link!

Pool

This past Saturday Libby and I made our first trip of the year to the neighborhood pool. She woke up Saturday morning saying that she wanted to go the pool! She wore her bathing suit around the house all morning so at about 10:30 we headed toward to pool. On the way we ran into our neighbors Gracie and Abby so they tagged along with us. I was almost convinced it would be too cold, and we would be back home in matter of minutes. I was wrong though! It was a little chilly, but not too bad. I sat on the side of the pool most of the time and Libby played on the steps. She loved it!

So excited to be at the pool!
Libby hanging out with the big girls, Gracie and Abby.
Abby feeding Libby her snack...

Then Gracie found a little frog! So Libby and Abby had to go check it out.

Today was my last day of the semester, thank goodness! I was beginning to think it would never end, but it finally did. What a relief! Tomorrow is Nolen's last exam EVER! (At least for undergrad.. Who knows what the future holds!) Ah, I'm so jealous, but am so proud of him! 4 more days till graduation! WOOHOO!

Mother's Day

I hope everyone is having a great Mother's Day! I'm unfortunately locked in our office/guest bedroom studying for my last final. Thank goodness!! I'm obviously taking a little study break right now though. I thought I would do a little post to say Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mother's out there!

Especially my Mom! I love you so much, Mom and don't know what I would do without you! Thanks for being the BEST Mom anyone could ask for! And to my sweet Mother- in- law Mrs. Beth you are so special to me! Thanks for being a great MIL!

I always forget how blessed I am to be able to be a Mother. I know there are many women out there that pray and long for children everyday. So, to be able to have a perfectly healthy child makes me feel blessed beyond measure. It's not always easy (trust me!), but I love knowing that God gave Nolen and I this precious baby girl to us for a reason. What an awesome feeling!

Ok, on a lighter note here are some pictures that my Mom took of Libby when she had her last week.

And I see they are not working.... Hmm, I'll have to check on that tomorrow! Sorry!

Camp Bessie

Libby is at the lake for a few days so we can study for finals coming up. She spent the day/night at Camp Bessie and she's spending the afternoon/night at Camp Sasa today.

Here are some pictures of what she's been doing at CB.

Loving the new beach at CB.
She even pretended to fish with a stick she found. Shotout to Blakely! Tucker would love this! :)

I can hear her now saying, "Silly Daisy!"

Then, they came inside and played with play-doh!

Then she had some yogurt and looked a her 3 precious cousins. Katie, Jenny and Rosie. I'm not sure why there is a Alabama purse on the counter? Never seen that sight at Camp Bessie's.

A picture of Camp Bessie's side yard. Pretty nice camp I'd say!

I know Libby is having so much fun with Bessie.  I can't wait to see what activities Camp Sasa has for her! She might not want to come home she's having so much fun.

Bessie took this last weekend. Thought it was so cute!

Growing UP!

I think it's safe to say that Libby played hard at school today! In the dirt atleast! :-)

She is going to be so embarrassed that I took a picture of her dirty bottom some day!

In her cubby today there was an apple with Libby's picture her height and weight from when she started preschool till now. What a great idea! Libby's teachers are so creative! I just can't believe how much she has grown since October. She only grew 2 in., but she gained 6 pounds since October. That just seems like so much!! Ah.. No wonder I can't hold her for very long! My little girl is growing up! :-(

I can't believe that her last day of school is a week from today. She's had such a great first year of preschool!

A Few of my Favorite Things...

Thought I would share some of my favorite things right now:

-- Sharpie pens. I haven't written with anything else since I found these awesome pens. Try them if you haven't. You'll love 'em!

The Sharpie Pen in red, blue, black, and green...all fine point

Havaianas! They're pretty amazing too. They are so comfortable and perfect for summer!

Patchwork Address Stamp (Self-Inking)

Hope everyone has been more productive than I have today. It's kind of sad how unproductive I've been today. If that's a word. I did do 4 loads of laundry and made a huge mess in my closet (trying to reorganize it), so I  guess I got something done.
