Memorial Day Weekend

We spent the long Memorial day weekend at the lake with family. It was hot and fun. Thank goodness the lake and pool were near! We headed to the lake Friday afternoon for a friends birthday party.

I wasn't that great at taking pictures this weekend, so here are some highlights. {and what we pretty much did all weekend.}

She finally started liking the lake. I thought her Mermaid float that Katie gave her would really make her love the water. Not so much! I figured it out though, she loves the water only if she is standing {or can touch the bottom.}

And I guess it did help that "mermaid" swam with her.

It was such a great weekend. Perfect start to summer!!
