Meltdown- Wal Mart Style

Yesterday Libby and I made a Wal-Mart run to get some paint for the project I'm working on.

Well.

Who knew the princess/Barbie aisle was a few aisle in front of the DIY aisle!? We had a bit of a meltdown in the middle of Wal- Mart. Now I hate going to Wal-Mart. Especially the Opelika one. I'm sure the Auburn WM is scary at times, but I don't go there much because we are closer to the Opelika WM. So I like to make them as quick as possible.

I snapped some pictures on my phone. Probably not the best thing to do. Oh well.

Life lesson # 200- Check to see where the princess/Barbie aisle is first and try to AVOID it.

It's not fun having to tell your daughter that she can't have the Barbie. Because she already has enough to play with right now. And Nolen might threaten me if there is another Barbie and her tiny accessories all over the house. :)

The tears are coming in... Sorry didn't take any of her screaming and kicking on the floor. I was a little busy trying to get her off that nasty floor.

We survived though. And my mission was a success with a few bumps on the way. We walked out with a can of paint and primer.

No Barbie. It broke my heart, because I think buying Barbies are fun. But I had to teach her that she can't have everything

Libby is hoping Christmas is next week. That's what I tell her every time she wants something, "Maybe you can ask Santa Claus for that."
