Birthdays,Potty Training and more

This weekend was so perfect! The weather was great and we had a weekend full of fun! The fun included dinner with Mack and his girlfriend Lauren on Friday night, and Libby had 2 birthday parties on Saturday. We've never done back to back birthday parties before, but it will wear.you.out. I was exhausted!! She had so much fun though, AND she didn't cry when they sang "Happy Birthday!" I was so glad she didn't cry. It's not fun having the child that's crying in the background. We let another child do the crying this time. :-)

The first birthday party was at her friend Ethan's house. The theme was wear you favorite team color. Well, I'm sure you can imagine what every child wore! Except the birthday boy was a Georgia Tech fan. Libby was excited about wearing her Auburn dress! She loves Auburn and that makes her Daddy SO happy! Like you just don't understand... He just melts when she says, "War Eagle," or "Go Auburn!" It's really fun to watch. Anyway, back to the party they had a big blow up jumping house that was a tiger! Libby didn't jump in it, but she played with the other toys.

                                                 She loved building a "castle"

Soccer ball as a basketball... Why not!?

                                                       Yummy cupcake!
After Ethan's party we went home and rested for an hour, then we went back at it. We went to Felton Little park for Emily's party. It was so pretty outside. It was perfect weather for a birthday party. There was a softball game going on beside the park, and Libby loved watching the game. She stood by the fence watching and cheering them on. She is definitely a a girly-girl, but she sure does like sports! I think she is a good mix.

                                                   Watching the softball game

We had a great weekend, and we are SO glad the weather is starting to get warmer! We've really been needing some good ole Vitamin D!

On another note, Libby is getting back in the swing of things with potty training.  Since she got sick last week she has been kind off schedule with potty training. She went to the potty tonight without me though! She came running in the den saying, "I did it!!!" with the biggest smile on her face!

*** Sorry if this is TMI for all you without kids...You'll understand someday how exciting it is for your child to go potty, and you'll be posting pictures of it on your blog! :-)
Also, Nolen has the stomach bug. Pray that he gets better, and pray that Libby and I don't get it! He has been pitiful all day. He has NEVER been sick! So, seeing him sick is so sad, and Libby really doesn't understand that she can't get near him because he is sick. She just doesn't understand why she can't sit and cuddle with her Daddy!
