Christmas {Part 3}

Christmas morning was one of the best Christmas mornings I've ever had. It's so fun when you are a kid, but it's REALLY fun when you get to watch your child enjoy it. We stayed at my parents house Christmas Eve night and woke up to a lot of toys under the tree. Lots of PRINCESS toys I might add. Santa was prepared and got all the toys put together the night before so everything was ready to go when  Libby woke up.

We got up about 7 o'clock.  Libby walked in the living room and immediately started squealing. It was the cutest thing ever! I have it all on video, and could watch it a million times over. She was so so exciting about all of her presents.

She got all that she asked for and more! She LOVES the Barbie bike and has gotten pretty good at riding it. Since it was rainy and snowy the day of and after Christmas the house was the only place she could ride it, but we have been riding it a lot outside since we got home. She also got 2 Barbies, a doll house and all the accesories, clothes, shoes, a Strawberry Shortcake bouncy ball and much much more!

About 8:30 we headed over to the Lamberth's house. Libby was just so happy about the fact that Santa visited BOTH Sasa and Bessie's houses! She was just as excited when she walked in the door at the Lamberths. She got some clothes, some more Barbies, the Sweet Pea Castle, a jumping ball pit, a karaoke machine and much more. She is set with toys! Thank goodness I did a good clean out of some of her older toys in her playroom.

Around 11 we went back over to Sasa and Who's for lunch with my family. We opened more presents and had the most delicious meal.

Then it was back over to the Lamberths late that afternoon for dinner with Nolen's family. We are so thankful that our parents are literally 2 minutes away from each other. Because we do a lot of back and forth. Makes things so easy!

Libby had the best day ever! Nothing makes me feel happier than to see her so happy. I couldn't have asked for a better day with the ones we love the most!

Christmas {Part 2}

 Friday we had the 4th annual Willow Point Bowl game. A lot of families in the neighborhood get together for a football game on the lawn of the Russell Lands office. It's a big production. The talented Katherine Barnes played the National Anthem...

 I wasn't able to play this year b/c I had a shower to go to for future sister-in-law Amber. I'm definitely playing next year! And if you check the Weekend Edition of The Outlook you'll find my famous sister, Katie on the front page.

Friday night we went to church with my family and then went to the Hollidays annual party.
Mrs. Cindy's food was delicious as usual.

Riley Frances, me and Hayes

I know, I need a haircut...

Some one started singing Christmas songs in the kitchen, so Libby had to join in!

And lastly I'm going to save Christmas morning/day for it's on post. Christmas Part 3... Promise this is the end.

Christmas {Part 1}

We are back home from Christmas at the lake. We had a great time being with both families and lots of friends! We started our Christmas festivities Thursday afternoon with a visit to Santa at the Russell Lands Christmas party. Santa came in on his usual ride- a helicopter.

He came with all of his staff, his elf and reindeer. Libby was a little nervous about meeting the "big" man, but she loved the elf.

 How could you not love this cheery person? {Promise he was a lot more cheery than that!}

Bessie and Sasa

Baby Henry was there too.

Grandaddy and Gran {Hayes' grandparents} Libby loves them!

Aunt Hayes- it was a little windy!

When we went inside the office Libby went straight for the elf.

Telling Who all about it...

Cousin Brantley was there too! Lots of cousins at Russell Lands

Santa settled in his chair and we waited in line to see if it would be worth the wait. Kasi put Henry in Santa's lap, and Libby felt like he was a nice guy if he was holding Henry. I wasn't TOTALLY surprised that she sat in his lap, but I was very happy she did cheer up for jolly ole' man.

She told him exactly what she wanted- a Barbie bike, Tinkerbell movie and Sleeping Beauty Barbie. (Girly much?)

Telling Papa and Henry about Santa!

When we were walking to the car Mack offered a ride on the miniature pony. Libby loved it!

Thursday night we had the 4th annual bonfire at the Jackson's (Nolen's aunt and my parents good friends).

Libby loves Uncle T

It was the perfect night for a bonfire!

Henry and Nolen

Libby with her cousins- Katie, Rosie and Jenny Lamberth

LOVES Rosie!

Sweet friends- Riley Frances, Me, Rachel and Hayes

I'll come back with Part 2 of Christmas tomorrow. Since I have WAY too many pictures and information for one post.

Snow Day

Happy day after Christmas everyone! Hope you all are resting and enjoying this beautiful, snowy day. Libby sure did enjoy playing in the snow for a short time this morning.

Libby put her boots and jacket on and was ready to play.

We had to do a little wardrobe correction before we went ouside though.

I think this is her 3rd snow it her lifetime. And if you do the math she is 3, so she has had a snow day every year since she was born. I think!

We had some "glub" issues. I didn't think to bring gloves, so Libby had to wear big "glubs".

We made a snowman girl

She was so proud!

Christmas post coming soon. Enjoying our last days here with family.
