Lately

Hello!

We've been busy around here!

From swim lessons every morning to keeping a house in order we haven't had much down time. We go non stop all day. {Which makes for some good sleeping!} I love being busy, and part of my summer goals were to watch very little TV. So, basically that means we're out of the house or playing something inside all the time.  Now when the time calls for TV- like cooking dinner I'm all over it!

Here are some pictures of what we've been doing...

Libby invited her friend Avery to come play. They both LOVE Barbies, so you can only imagine what they did. It was so fun listening to their conversations.

We've been checking books out at the "li-berry". All Fancy Nancy books from our last visit.

We planted some herbs and tomatoes the other day. I'm sure my neighbor will be over at my house checking on them everyday. {We have the sweetest old couple neighbors, but the man is a bit of a ...well..... know-it-all. After I planted the tomatoes he came over to our yard and started pressing the soil and basically re-doing what I did. Hmmm....

We hit up the farmers market today. It was H.O.T!!!! Next time we might be venturing over to Opelika's farmers market since it's in the morning. We got a lot of goodies though.

A HUGE watermelon...

Chilton Country peaches...

And a bag of fresh blueberries!

On our way home it was 98 degrees. So hot!!!! I'm thinking about getting a fan for Libby in the backseat. My 8 year old Jeep doesn't have air vents in the back. Who thought that was a good idea??

And a post wouldn't be complete without a picture of the Libster.

taken last weekend at my parent's house

Now I'm about to go put my feet up and enjoy a cold one. Thank goodness Gourmet Tiger took care of dinner tonight.

Be back soon with things that we've been doing on our summer list!!
