countdown

we are 10 days away from leaving for DISNEY WORLD! We are really excited! I can't believe it's almost time--this month has flown by like crazy. We have a calendar that we have been using as a countdown until our trip.

I've been reading this series and this blog post about DW. Thank goodness for friends and random people who so generously share the 411 with us first timers. {First timers as in... first time parents taking kids to disney. Nolen and I have both been several times 10+ years ago!}

**************************************
We have had a busy week! The mornings are busy getting chores done, the gym, taking Libby to school, school for me, and errands. Our afternoons have been full of running more errands, birthday parties, play dates and trying to get things done at home.  I have a busy girl on my hands. She doesn't slow down. 10 minutes at the dinner table to eat dinner is hard for her. She wants to be outside all. the. time.

Here are some instagram pictures from this week.

Some things to note...

-I used this idea for teacher appreciation week at her school last week. Just print and add a $10 gift card.
-Libby survived her 5 year shots. There were tears, but she did so good! She is in the 90th percentile in height and 70th in weight. Tall girl!
-We are working on getting summer plans on the calendar. Only 3 more weeks of school until it's summer break!

Have a great weekend! I am running in this race this weekend. Should be a fun one!

  2. I guess the pix of Lib at her 5 year check up was taken BEFORE the shots:( I am SO sorry she had to go through that....and I bet she is too! BUT now it's done with.....thank goodness! MB

  3. Love Libsters new swim suit. I can't image how excited she is esp when she gets to mark off another day. I want to be a fly in the air when she sees the castle and all her Disney friends. She will never want to leave...can't wait to see those photos.
