Reason for the Season

Libby is getting super excited about Santa coming! It is so fun to see the excitement she has about Christmas, because I remember having that same excitement. The whole Santa thing is all so fun, but I really want to teach Libby the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. It is so easy for me to get caught up in the buying of gifts, making sure my house is decorated perfectly, etc. Last night we pulled the Christmas books out for bedtime. It's funny how you can get so much out of the simplest books.

Last night Libby also decorated her pink Christmas tree for her playroom. She was so excited about having her own PINK Christmas tree!
