O Christmas Tree...

We put up our first Christmas tree this past Sunday. We've always had a table tree in the past, just seemed like the right thing to do with a baby/toddler. Now that Libby is older we have started a tradition of going to get a REAL tree as a family. We went to a tree lot not far from our house.

It definitely felt like Christmas time... It was freezing!

After a few mishaps with the tree we finally got it securely in the tree stand. Before we started decorating we fixed some hot chocolate and started a fire....

Then we started the decorating.

Libby loved putting the ornaments on... I think this is the most fun age for this time of year. {So far!} I'm sure it gets better the older you get.

Our finished tree! We love it.

Now it officially feels like Christmas... weather and all!! Just need to finish my shopping.
