Family Fall Festival

Saturday Libby and I went to the lake for the Family Festival at Russell Crossroads. The weather couldn't have been more perfect! It was such a fun day. There was a lot of pumpkin painting, scarecrow building, pony riding and hayride riding going on. I'm so glad we made the 45 minute drive home to be apart of this fun event!

We started off with painting the pumpkin...

She really loved the pumpkin that we picked out!

Starting to work on the pumpkin...

Hayes was there too! Libby was concentrating too hard to smile for the camera.

Having so much fun!

Then we started working on our scarecrow...

Taking a popcorn break...

Libby and Sasa

Starting to stuff our scarecrow with hay...

Libby had fun playing with the hay...

The finished product... All dressed up in Who's clothes. We had to put some scary accessories on the pumpkin so he wouldn't look so "preppy"! :-)

Crossroad Creep is what we named him :-) And we couldn't have done without the help of Cousin JJ!

With Bessie and Papa

Then we ventured over to the wildlife table... There were snakes, spiders and this owl.  I wasn't a big fan of the snakes and spiders. Made my skin crawl!

Taking a break from all of those scary creatures... And Aunt NaNa came after tennis!

All of the scarecrows...

We finished the day with painting another pumpking PINK and GREEN. Libby's favorite colors!

It was such a fun day spent with family. If you are ever in the Lake Martin area I HIGHLY recommend going to Russell Crossroads. You will not be disappointed!
